Former DNC Chairman Don Fowler, said God sent a democrat hurricane to disrupt the Republican Convention. He later apologized and called the man who caught him saying this, a right-wing nutcase.
All mothers were pro-life at least once.
Barack Obama, a lawyer, wanted change, so he selected an old white lawyer who is the grandson of a rich oil man. John McCain, a soldier and former POW, picked a commercial fisherman’s wife who became Governor of our largest and richest state.
Joe Biden said his mom taught him to bloody the nose of bullies and that’s why he is a success. Now kids have to go through “conflict resolution” because of Joe Biden.
Challenging Michelle Obama’s patriotism is wrong according to Barack Obama. He has remained silent on Democrats saying Sarah Palin’s 16 year old daughter had baby Trig and Sarah was covering it up.
- UPDATE: Obama called off the dogs this afternoon, saying children are off limits. He gave no reason why he didn’t speak out days ago when the baby Trig rumors began on Democratic Underground and the Daily Kos.
- Maybe he was too busy reading Drudge and Townhall.com
If elected President, Barack Obama will have to defeat or outmaneuver men like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Vladimir Putin. He is still afraid to face Bill O’Reilly.

September 1st, 2008 - 11:51 pm
Sorry Mr. Dog, this post was far too tempting to pass up.
“Former DNC Chairman Don Fowler, said God sent a democrat hurricane to disrupt the Republican Convention. He later apologized and called the man who caught him saying this, a right-wing nutcase”
I think this guy is a dumbass too, but maybe you’ve forgotten this little tidbit. I’d advise not listing this as a talking point, there is way, way too much ammunition on the right-wing religious nuts. As a friend, just giving you a heads up.
“Barack Obama, a lawyer, wanted change, so he selected an old white lawyer who is the grandson of a rich oil man.”
Yes, a rich oil executive who went broke. Your point being…what? How is this an “oil connection”, and wouldn’t the GOP be happy about it? Don’t you guys want to drill the entire country? Curious.
“John McCain, a soldier and former POW, picked a commercial fisherman’s wife who became”
Naval Aviator. John McCain was a Naval Aviator, neither they nor us Marines take kindly to being called soldier. We thank you for making corrections.
“Governor of our largest and richest state.”
Largest yes. Richest no. 6th wealthiest per capita. There are 700,000 people living there. You do the math.
“Joe Biden said his mom taught him to bloody the nose of bullies and that’s why he is a success. Now kids have to go through “conflict resolution” because of Joe Biden.”
I thought all liberals were effete limp wristed types? You should hear what my mom told me to do to bullies…my Marine training paled in comparison.
“Challenging Michelle Obama’s patriotism is wrong according to Barack Obama. He has remained silent on Democrats saying Sarah Palin’s 16 year old daughter had baby Trig and Sarah was covering it up.”
Now THIS is an outright lie. So easily checked, that I’m offended to do your homework for you.
“If elected President, Barack Obama will have to defeat or outmaneuver men like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Vladimir Putin. He is still afraid to face Bill O’Reilly.”
Fear isn’t a factor. Bill O’Reilly is a moron and not a serious journalist. He’s all opinion and spin, why would Obama go into something that is not an honest debate? Nobody should dignify O’Reilly’s show. He should have stuck to the gossip show Inside Edition, or whatever it was.
September 2nd, 2008 - 10:17 am
First DMG, thank you for serving as a Marine.
Now go get screwed if you think you are coming in here with your sanctimony and telling me not to use soldier. I thank you for embarrassing yourself.
Your dodge of conflict resolution is typical of a dishonest liberals. You know conflict resolution trash doesn’t work, but you give your boy Joe a pass.
Barack Obama only spoke on the day aftr the bit was written, so I will include his LATE address of the past WEEK of liberal trashing of Sarah Palins’s daughter.
Bill O, like him or not, is the #1 interview show in America. By hiding from him, Obama has taken an easy electoral landslide and turned it into a close race.
That’s change I can believe in.
Have fun losing ‘08
September 2nd, 2008 - 10:43 am
Rude Pup,
Just because you are a big bad right-wing pussy, doesn’t mean us folks on the left don’t know how to take a punch physically and verbally…and punch back.
You aren’t very smart, so I won’t bother coming here often and making you look stupid. You seem to be able to do that all by yourself.
And NOBODY calls a Marine (capital M), or Naval Aviator a “soldier” except ignorant civilians, because it is truly an insult. And I don’t need your or anyone elses thanks for serving 10 years in the Corps. When you people figure out that the military isn’t the Special Olympics, we will take your half-ass thank you’s seriously.
As far as conflict resolution goes, that’s how I personally get down, I don’t know about other liberals.
Bill O is still a douchebag, who much like you dodges so far to the right when presented with facts, it’s not even fun picking on him…or you. And yeah, an interview with him is not worth the time for Sen. Obama. Neither is an interview with Limbaugh, Malkin, Hannity, Hewitt…did I miss any right-wing hacks?
Print that.
September 2nd, 2008 - 1:42 pm
It’s printed.
Wannabe Tough Guy,
You didn’t hit back at all. You ran away when defeated.
Name one thing I dodged, you can’t because I didn’t. Please don’t teach your kids how to argue. They will do better on their own.
You talk alot about physical toughness, I don’t think you have ever been in a real fight. You can contact the site and ask for me anytime you are in Charlotte, I am glad to meet all those who play tough guy. You can join the ranks of Samir Khan, Alex Jones and a few other Jihadists who can’t seem to find their balls and use e-mail.
Americans thanking servicemen is never half-assed. Mabye that just reveals your cynicism.
Thanks for getting out of the Corps. You make them look bad by degrading the special olympics.
Please do not pollute the site with anymore of your pseudo-intellectual attempts at discourse. Use the contact page and we can meet.
September 2nd, 2008 - 4:47 pm
Your blog. You can say what you want. You don’t really know anything about me, other than I pissed you off by sharing a different opinion.
You make the poor assumption that since you are a right-wing type that you can kick my ass. You sure about that? Without knowing what I did in the Corps, or what I taught other Marines to do in the Corps?
Get my point? Don’t buy with your mouth what your ass can’t pay for. We’ll leave it at that.
If you don’t want to be criticized, don’t write for the world to see…or make your site private like Malkin.
If you could read you’d realize I never said you dodged but rather O’Reilly.
I don’t recall backing down on one point. I can do this all day. Doesn’t take much energy at all.
My 6 year old nephew gives me more of an intellectual challenge than you, but then again he is smart for a 6 year old. How old are you?
By the way did you serve? Yes or No. If no then why not? I don’t think all Americans need to be in the military, just curious.
Do you really want to continue? I’ll give you an out, and allow you to back down with some dignity intact. Or I can make you and your site my special project…at least until you start deleting my posts that is. Have a pleasant day.
September 2nd, 2008 - 5:03 pm
Here’s where you told me I dodge. Man, you are bad at this.
“…who much like you dodges so far to the right when presented with facts…”
___
I told you, just email the site if you think you are man enough.
I assume I can kick your ass? You assume you know what you are dealing with. I don’t fight because I know I can hurt someone, thats bullying. I do it because when assholes play tough, I give them the attention they crave. You seem to have gotten your fill. I wish your father could read this.
If you were a Marine, you are not living up to it now.
Use the email or go away.
September 2nd, 2008 - 5:54 pm
My dearest Rude Puppy,
So when someone doesn’t agree with you, you challenge them to a fight, because you don’t have anything else to offer. Sounds like something from the schoolyard.
You obviously were not in the Marine Corps, and therefore you don’t rate to judge me so keep my Corps out of your mouth. Period.
You don’t know my father (he was what you’d call liberal I suppose and served too…enlisted not drafted). He’d tell me to kick your ass intellectually, and if you were stupid enough to get physical…that’s another story. He didn’t like idiots either. Rest his soul.
I asked you a question earlier, that you conveniently did not answer. So what is it? Yes or No…and why not? Again, it’s not to berate you, just want to know. I’m also curious to know how old you are. You sound kind of immature.
I don’t care to email you. I’d rather keep this public so your fans can have a good laugh too. Stop fooling yourself. This “I’m gonna kick your ass” stuff just makes you sound like a Neanderthal (no offense to Neanderthals).
Just concede, and move on. Or I’ll continue to embarrass you until you kick me off…cheers.
September 2nd, 2008 - 6:06 pm
By the way, Mr. Hound, what about my first post pissed you off the most. It was a mere refutation of the “talking points”. You even corrected one. Why all the hostility and anger? Don’t let all this political pressure get you so wound up. It’s not healthy.
Trust me. I’m very familiar with what happens to people who get over stressed.
Relax, man.
September 2nd, 2008 - 6:13 pm
I rarely comment over here at the Dog’s joint, but I just wanted to stop by and offer some perspective on conflict, for what it’s worth.
I’ve ‘known’ DMG and basically he strikes me like this. Don’t cross his Marine side. He is the kind of man who has put down the ultimate bet and was ready to back it with lethal force, but like Jason Bourne, he has come to know that very few of his superiors were worth it according to his code. I can’t tell you if that’s THE Marine code or DMG’s version of it, but it doesn’t matter. If you’re not his superior officer or God Almighty, you are a potential enemy to be dispatched.
These days he saves lives on the operating table. So basically none of us dipdunks operate on his life of death level. Anything that sends him more work as a Marine or a medic that smells even slightly imperfect is going to bring down a whirlwind.
My suggestion is to treat the man with respect, let him say his piece and engage him on the up and up when he’s in the mood to be charitable. If you start hitting below the belt, he will take you to the floor like Gracie.
My website chronicles one of the greatest battles between him and another legendary scourge of the blogs, CNulan on the role of pharmaceuticals in our society. It’s a freaking crazy complex rabbithole and they both journeyed to the center of the Earth. Do not doubt that he will go there.
You have been warned.
September 2nd, 2008 - 6:18 pm
I other words, past a certain point, he has no fucking sense of humor.
September 2nd, 2008 - 6:23 pm
Tick, tock Rude Dog.
September 2nd, 2008 - 6:40 pm
You started the acting tough. Tough if you don’t like it.
You came to my house, you don’t run the place. It’s called The Rude News, not please the guests.
I don’t like blocking people, so I laid waste to you and you keep coming back with nothing.
I told how you can get what you want, you can’t seem to handle it.
You are the one who got smart, and I handled you easily. You gat angry and began your tough guy trash, it doesn’t fly here. You called me all kinds off names, it speaks for itself.
I am not afraid of you, you don’t understand. Hell, I am bored with this.
If you comment on this site again, it better be about something in the post or you will be blocked.
But the email will always be open.
Thanks, for your input Cobb.
September 2nd, 2008 - 7:28 pm
Curious that you are complaining about me being “rude”.
Go ahead and block me. I’m waiting for you to prove my point.
I don’t really think you can handle honest debate. That’s not a diss, that’s a observation.
There is no evidence that you have refuted any of my points. Your proclamation doesn’t make it so…even if this IS your site.
RUDE DOG: “You started the acting tough. Tough if you don’t like it.”
Au contraire mon amis, it was you who started the tough guy antics with this:
“The Rude Dog
September 2nd, 2008 - 10:17 am
First DMG, thank you for serving as a Marine.
Now go get screwed if you think you are coming in here with your sanctimony and telling me not to use soldier. I thank you for embarrassing yourself.”
Anyone can see that this is the post immediately following my first post.
“I don’t like blocking people, so I laid waste to you and you keep coming back with nothing.”
As Cnulan says: ROTFLMBAO, and this is pure comedy gold. How do you suppose you “laid waste” to anything I said? Seriously. Even Cobb had to come in here and warn you that you were out of your depth.
Come on man. If your facts are better than my facts then you win. PERIOD. I have no problem saying uncle. Simple that’s how this stuff goes. But, mein Freund, it is very clear you haven’t disproved any of my points (I’ll give you 1/2 a point on the dodge thing, because I didn’t include the correct punctuation). That’s all I’m waiting for. Hell ask Cobb, I come clean when he scores a point and backs it up with facts from credible sources.
Now on a serious note, do you honestly expect someone who spent 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps to back down on anything?
Respect the game.
And when are you going to answer my question?
I’ll tell you what. I won’t comment on this thread again, IF you answer my question. And again, I’m not going to jump up and say you are this or that. I’m truly just curious as to how old you are, and if you served.
Deal?
September 2nd, 2008 - 7:48 pm
Seriously, DMG? This shit is funny. BTW imo you started the tough guy bullshit with this quote
“Just because you are a big bad right-wing pussy, doesn’t mean us folks on the left don’t know how to take a punch physically and verbally…and punch back.”
Hmm… lets see we’ve got the ad hominum and the threat of physical violence too. Way to take it to another level though, cheers! Were you gonna punch that little girl Malkin too?
Think if this gets on Ill come join in, hell my life is a mess and Ive got nothing to lose anyway. Spent all evening throwing away my life’s posessions and Ive got 11 vacation days left to make the trip. We’ll make it a threesome. Let me know how far you want this to go guys.
September 2nd, 2008 - 8:07 pm
Wow…your site is like Disneyland. This is way too fun. Thank you mrace for bringing a smile to my face.
How do you get punching Michelle Malkin out of THAT. That is a stretch worthy of the most flexible underage Chinese gymnasts. I said we can take a punch, and we punch back. How is that a threat of physical violence? I’m truly curious. Do you guys just make this stuff up, or are you truly dillusional?
Especially when THIS paragraph is staring you squarely in the face
“I assume I can kick your ass? You assume you know what you are dealing with. I don’t fight because I know I can hurt someone, thats bullying. I do it because when assholes play tough, I give them the attention they crave. You seem to have gotten your fill. I wish your father could read this.
If you were a Marine, you are not living up to it now.
Use the email or go away.”
I think Michelle Malkin can take care of herself. She seems to be a pretty tough grown woman last I checked.
I’m truly sorry your life is a mess (and that’s for real), and you have all of this time. I just type this stuff 2-3 minutes at a time in between doing what I do for a living. If coming to the defense of Mr. Skinny Puppy (wait maybe you won’t get the reference to the punk rock band), makes your day, and helps you to feel good, then by all means, let’s get down (but my dear, I’m not down with the threesome stuff…morals and all…). Et tu Monsieur Chien Grossier (don’t get angry that’s Mr. Rude Dog in French)? Want to continue. It might make the day of this lovely lady(?) mrace (my bad if you aren’t a woman, just assumed you were for some reason, feel free to correct me).
But guys, do you think we can actually discuss the original talking points? Otherwise I have other stuff I can be doing since I’m employed and all. I mean if you are just going to continue to fabricate things, it’s not really interesting…at all.
September 2nd, 2008 - 8:39 pm
A Sailor and a Marine were in the head at the same time. As they finished their business the Marine went to the sink and the Sailor headed to the door. The Marine asked “Hey aren’t you going to wash your hands.” The Sailor replied “Don’t need to, I know how not to piss on them.”
September 2nd, 2008 - 8:45 pm
Glad we share amusement at this.
Read the fucking quote you asshole, you mention taking a physical punch and giving one, that sounds like fighting to me. Just wondering if you were such a, to quote you “Neanderthal” to Mrs Malkin on her site?
All this time? Ive spent 20 minutes on it, you have spent an entire day coming here to respond and apparently you get around the conservative sites aplenty. But you are right, I have nothing better to do than target you. For someone with a life though, you sure like to start shit.
Yes I get the skinny puppy reference, great band.
You think you are the only one in the world who listens to good heavy music? Or are you just wishing I was a kid so you can dismiss me? Calling me a woman and the dog a puppy make it easier for your fantasy to play out? Honestly though I Havent bought an album of theirs since The Process.
How does one get to be such an elitest grunt anyway, pray tell? Your attitude sucks!
You accuse people who call you a soldier out of respect of being “ignorant civilians”.
You throw their praise and thanks back in there face?
To hell with the original points, you took this conversation where it is now so deal with it. Either back down or email the man. Passing the blame to someone else after you started the ball rolling is so typically liberal.
As for the dog, yea Ill be his wingman unless you are thinking you’ve bit off more than you can chew now, but Ive got nothing but hunger for this type of thing lately. Its a funny thing when you dont care.
September 2nd, 2008 - 8:53 pm
Yes I served. That was a good one. Here’s one you’ve probably heard.
100 men go out to sea. 50 couples come back.
September 2nd, 2008 - 8:59 pm
DMG.
Yes I head that one, but only coming from the sailors on board Marine transport ships.
September 2nd, 2008 - 9:33 pm
mrace,
Apologies if you are not a woman. For some reason your writing just seemed female at the time. So why all of the hostility? Like I said, if your facts are better than mine…you win. Actually I WROTE the quote…maybe you should read it again.
Maybe you should talk to someone rather than take your hostilities out on me. I’m not your enemy. And I assume Rude Dog can take care of himself. Going on line and chatting about politics and disagreeing is sport for all of us, and I don’t really think you should get all bent out of shape, and want to invite people to email you so you can arrange physical fights…because you might not like who shows up at your door.
What’s with all the Malkin stuff? I’m not sure of the Neanderthal/Malkin connection. I don’t frequent her site, she’s not interested in honest debate, that’s why I go to Cobb. You should check it out. I also really HATE DailyKos or any other site that distorts the truth by skewing too far to the right or the left. Most news in the U.S. (not just Fox) has a particular political bent to it, so I try to avoid it as much as possible. BBC, Deutsche Welle are decent English language sites, and on occasion I go to sites where I have a basic working understanding of the language. My German is better than my French, but I can almost make out what the Swedish papers are saying…still trying to learn. Finnish, I just let my wife read it to me.
Cool that you get the Skinny Puppy reference. Most people don’t. Actually I’ve called the “Dog” quite a few variations on his name to include: Chien Grossier (French), Hound etc. I was going to use Koira, but not many people understand Finnish.
Elitist Grunt. I like that, it’s a fairly good description. First off we should define elitist since it’s gotten alot of bad press lately. I’ll use Wikipedia, because I’m feeling lazy right now and it’s easily checked:
As a term “Elite” usually describes a person or group of people who are members of the uppermost class of society (OK I’m not in that category, but read on). Personal attributes commonly purported by elitist theorists to be characteristic of the elite include:
* Rigorous study of, or great accomplishment within, a particular field. (Yep that’s me)
* A long track record of competence in a demanding field (ditto)
* An extensive history of dedication and effort in service to a specific discipline (e.g., medicine or law) (I’m medicine not law…law books don’t have alot of pictures and the words are too small)
* A high degree of accomplishment, training or wisdom within a given field. (Yep that’s a good description).
Yeah, I’ll buy that. Bachelors degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology was financed by my time ENLISTED in the Marine Corps, actually was in an elite unit in the Corps. Self made man. Family has always been poor. Still worked my way through the later part of college and medical school. So what’s wrong with being Elite? It’s an accomplishment…especially when working almost full-time.
So why does MY attitude suck? I haven’t invited anyone to come to me for a fight. It still won’t make the “talking points” any more true. You guys seem to want the same wimpy, whiny liberal stereotypes to come on these sites and get all offended. We don’t all look and act like Colmes. Sorry, I lean left, like many guys in the military. Probably more than you can imagine.
I’m going to say this again. Feel free to ask ANY US Marine. Calling us soldier (and notice this word is NOT capitalized), is a very significant insult. Don’t do it. Marine is an earned title. If you don’t believe me, feel free to ask any of my right-wing brother Marines (and I do mean brothers). Guarantee you no matter the political stripe, Marines side with Marines.
Let me explain my problem with the “Thank You for your service” thing. It’s become in vogue to run up to a military member and say that. As though that little token of gratitude is going to make that year away from wives and children getting shot at no big deal. If you really wanted to thank the guys getting crapped on in the desert (and how I HATE THAT desert), you would demand our government end this “Stop Loss” horseshit. You would demand that they use the precious lives of my brother Marines, soldiers, sailors and airmen only in conflicts that are ABSOLUTELY necessary. That would be a thank you. Lips service does nothing, it doesn’t soothe anyones soul after they’ve spent months on end in that rat hole. It doesn’t stop the nightmares of the horrors we’ve witnessed, or help them live with the fact that they have taken another human beings life. I’ve seen alot of death in my time. Thank you just doesn’t cut it anymore.
So you think I should email him and set up some sort of high school fight? Feel free to join the rest of us in the adult world. Deal with it.
Sorry for your life not being what you want it right now. I do hope it will get better, and that is in all sincerity. Caring is what makes you human. Don’t stop caring.
September 2nd, 2008 - 9:35 pm
Yes I served.
Touche. But remember the Village People made a song about the NAVY. Not the Corps. Just saying…
DMG
September 2nd, 2008 - 10:15 pm
DMG,
Do not bother my readers.
You did not use the email.
Anyone can see what you are.
You are in over your head.
You have warned me numerous times and backed down from the gauntlet you say you can handle.
Now, after embarrassing yourself, you will be left to make endless, senseless, comments, and all of TRN’s readers will know you for what you are.
Show these comments to your family with pride, many of ours are already laughing.
It’s too bad you played hard here. This is the men’s room.
September 2nd, 2008 - 11:06 pm
You are joking. This is hardly the men’s room (unless you are refering to all of the shit you and mrace are talking without backing up ONE sentence).
I can’t help your lack of taste, or ability. That’s your own shortcoming.
Since you don’t want to answer legitimate questions or back up anything you say, I’ll have to declare victory.
Ask Cobb who won. Or better yet, when you are done patting yourself on the back, and deluding yourself, come on back over to Cobb. Or hell, email ME anytime you would like another spanking. You too mrace. At least “Yes I served” has a sense of humor and can take a joke. But he’s a fellow military man.
Again, just because you proclaim it, does not necessarily make something true.
My family wonders why I, and I quote, “bother with those online hillbilly morons”. You’d be surprised but I defended you. I said, “you cannot hone your arguments with people who believe the same as you”. That’s why I come to places like Cobb, and occasionally sites like yours, because you don’t believe the same me. I was hoping for serious debate, but all I got was this sophomoric “I’m gonna kick your ass” crap, and proclaimations of victory, when there was none. Maybe you take your cues from George W. “Mission Accomplished” Bush.
You still haven’t answered my question. You can see my email. You know where to find me. Go ahead share my email with mrace. I’m not afraid of debate.
Don’t bother your readers. I looked at alot of your posts. I think I’ve written the most on your site in quite a few days. If you want to go back to “0 comments” That’s fine.

A sharp mind, much like a sharp sword is honed against another sharp object. Sleep on that, you’ll have an epiphany in the morning. I’ll be at Cobb with the adults and intellectuals. Hyvää yötä.
September 2nd, 2008 - 11:24 pm
What was your question, about serving? No. I have never served.
Now what?
September 2nd, 2008 - 11:44 pm
By the way, if you call that first comment of yours, where you tried, and failed, to tell me how to not call soldiers soldiers, serious debate, I can see why Cobb treats you with the kid gloves.
By the way, here’s some Marines to educate you on being a soldier. We want to see you go and correct those Marines, hell I am sending them this thread.
http://www.angelfire.com/ca/dickg/soldier.html
September 2nd, 2008 - 11:46 pm
FYI my brother in law was a US marine, and his father as well. Ive never heard either speak of this mysterious un-written law of yours. I also think they can tell the difference between someone who is being genuine and someone being fashionable, I am sorry you cannot. Not everyone speaks the military “jargon”, and people trying to be nice to you shouldnt piss you off so much. It is done usually with awe, and respect. I have thanked many US enlisted, often in awe of those 10 years younger than I, and I have never had any of them show anything but kindness and thanks in return. To me, you seem an aberration. I dont do it because it is en vogue, I do it because I want to, because somebody should. THAT, is called caring.
I havent invited you to anything, simply put, if something goes down I will go out of my way to be there for the hell of it. Your talking points dont bother me, your second post did. You act like you are better than others’ because of your service, that us plebes are not allowed to thank you for what you do. I think that is a shitty attitude.
You put the challenge out there, you had a chip on your shoulder, you made reference to fighting, you came off like an asshole. Well someone is having a bad time and called you on it.
You came in all badass, you boasted about what you did in the military, and now you apologize for being a lefty and act like you want to be friends. Want wimps? Not me, I am glad there are some libs with cajones out there, maybe if they ran I would vote for them. If you are what you say you are then once again I consider you an aberration.
September 3rd, 2008 - 12:00 am
I couldnt care less about the argument here and I certainly dont care about winning anything. That isnt why I posted anyway. You began the sophomoric “I’m gonna kick your ass” crap, you came with no other hopes than to be deleted or banned to prove a point to yourself. Well it appears you didnt win that and now we have what we have. Dont try to brush it off onto others that you acted like a prick, except some responsibility, another trait libs seem to lack.
I have had a link to Cobbs website on my desktop for over a year, I go there often. I dont post because I havent seen anyone talk as much crap about how tough they are as you have here.

Nevermind Rude Dog, I still dont think he gets it. The matters at hand, the matters at HAND!!! He still thinks this is about the talking points, he doesnt understand what set me off, what set you off as well. It is beyond him that the talking points went off the radar quite some time ago and we are dealing with a different argument now.
Maybe he will have an epiphony in the morning, and realize that you cant get back to business of talking points until this issue is resolved. And that I never was really interested in the talking points anyway.

“In recent years the Marine Corps has devoted a great deal of time and energy to rifle practice, believing that one of the first requirements of a soldier is to know how to shoot….”
Damn DMG, you better go show them Vets how tough you are!

Maybe a bone with DMG can be photoshopped into The Rude Dog’s mouth.

I make no apologies for being left of center. Ever.
About your not serving. Like I said, I was just curious, and have no intention of making an issue of it. Never did. The great thing about this country is that you have the option to serve or not to serve.
So basically you all are angry that I, a United States Marine, who served 10 years in the Corps, during a time of war, was correcting you two non-Marines on what us Teuful Hunden like to be called.
Again, you don’t know what you are talking about, as you’ve never stood on those “yellow footprints”. You’ve never run up First Sergeants Hill, humped Recon Ridge, never stood on the ramp of a C-130, SPIE rigged, wore Dress Blues, or sat in the middle of a Thai jungle listening to great stories from your Sergeant Major, or are to this day still shaking very, very fine sand out of gear you have long ago packed away. Again, you two, I am a Marine. You are not. Please do not tell me about being called soldier. I earned my Eagle, Globe, and Anchor…and quite a few other things.
Feel free to go aboard MCRD Parris Island, Camp Lejeune, MCAS Cherry Point, since you all seem to be on the eastern seaboard, (or MCRD San Diego, Camp Pendleton or MCAS Miramar) and find a Devil Dog, and call him/her soldier. See what kind of reaction you get.
By the way, you shouldn’t call a Marine (capital M) a jarhead unless you have a smile on your face.
Also looking forward to your Marines “educating” me on being a “soldier”. Any Marine worth his EGA will never agree that we are soldiers. Warriors, yes. Never soldier. Ever. You should look up the etymology of the word soldier. It has something to do with fighting for money.
Have a good morning.
