Am I the only one who noticed that when Sarah Palin asked Gibson to clarify his question referring to ‘The Bush Doctrines’….Gibson replied by asking her what she thought he meant. Gibson was clearly instructed to ask certain ‘trap-door’ questions, hoping to trip Palin up. He clearly had no idea what “The Bush Doctrine” meant. One more liberal with an agenda. Dreadfully devoid of substance or virtue, he made nothing but an ass of himself.
Rude, you know damn well she had no clue what he was talking about. She had a freaking Caribou in headlights look on her face. Explain it away if you will. Sure there are more than 4 permutations of the Bush Doctrine…she didn’t know ONE. Please get off the Palin bandwagon…we both know she’s not qualified for this job intellectually.
How did he screw up? She didn’t really have an answer. She fished for clarification to buy time to fudge it. It’s a fairly standard technique to use when you really aren’t sure what was being asked. Hell, I have done it, and I bet everyone here has at some point. But none of us are trying to be second-in-line for POTUS. The standard is higher for Palin than it is for normal people, and she invited this scrutiny.

There is no one “Bush doctrine”.
She sensed Gibson’s gotcha question and made him be specific.
Gibson did not know what he was doing there.
We both know he screwed up trying to nail her.
