Am I the only one in America or abroad that heard Palin say that she would use use nuclear weapons because if there was too many people in too many places? Isn’t that considered genocide.

Governor, on another issue, interventionism, nuclear weapons. What should be the trigger, or should there be a trigger, when nuclear weapons use is ever put into play?

Now understanding that do her response seem extreme and once again reflects a lack of diplomacy and understanding of human suffering on the part of on her part? But what can you expect from a woman with a special needs child whose mother fails to commit to special needs attention.

America’s equally greatest threat right now is our South of the Boarder problem: This is what has single handedly caused the collapse to our economy, social welfare systems and not to mention infested our society with more henious crimes and corruption. Notice that no one is saying that we should nuke our Southern boarder, because it’s a threat to us!

The truth hurts don’t it? You are a racist if you feel that all muslims are radical and as hinted previous you and your train of thought (which is predominant amount illegal Mexicans) don’t belong here in America. You sneak here with a complete disregard for our laws, including freedom of religion. You snub our tax system and economy, AND you remain uneducated and ignorant while siphoning on our social welfare system constantly breading like roaches and spreading that uneducated and ignorant mindset. Illegal immigrants cannot enlist in the Army on this side, even though they may work building homes they have broken our unions and caused massive layoffs of Irish, Itallian and everyone else (WITHOUT PAYING $1 INTO OUR TAX SYSTEM). Can’t you read up on the things that I suggested? Can you read? If not I will try and help you. READING MY LIPS IS EASIER: I am not against all Mexicans, only the ones without regard to our laws and who are too ignorant to understand that taxes are what pays for welfare, WIC, promotes better housing and job conditions, etc.. By the way I am voting for McCain/Palin - I like the Republican “shotgun” approach to illegal immigration and by this they will save the our economy and Country more than anything that Democrats Obama/Biden can do.

Just look at what the Republicans did in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina. They would not let anyone without PROPER ID into our stadiums, and refused access to all rescue services. They effectively wiped them out of the State, which ironically doing very well now. All those shantytowns were cleaned up and washed away. Those criminals (illegal immigrants) got their just reward.

On another end note: We have secured out air and other ports - the only way for terrorists to “freely” waltz into our country without being detected is through our south of the boarder and you dare distinguish Muslims into race - Jose Padilla sounds like a Spanish name to me. Do you know what this A**hole did? go find out and add this to Sara Palins pregnancy, child developmental needs and downs syndrome - NOW RUN DO DAT AND COME BACK CRAWLING: I LOVE TO SEE MEN ON THEIR KNEES.

Rude, this is really entertaining. It’s like a racist-fest. Thanks for jumping in, that last El Bastardo kind of confused me too. As I read this, these are two McCain supporters going at it and using racial and sexist epithets.

Hey Yes I served, I got to disagree on the Muslim thing. I’ve read the Bible and the Qur’an. I think radicalization is from poor interpretation. By that token, Christians who believe the Bible is word for word true, may also be considered radical. Radicals hide behind religion for a good reason. Many of my Muslim friends will agree with me.

I don’t have any problem with Palin having a nanny or extra help for her child while in office. My only problem with this is if she were to become President, her child may cause a really great distraction. (I’d link to Downs Syndrome info, but Rude won’t let me). Children with Tryge’s issues have ALOT of problems, and god forbid that little guy has serious issues at the same time as a national emergency. Not saying she can’t do it, but there’s no way she or any man or woman could concentrate on the job of the President at the same time. I wouldn’t be fair to the American people nor would it be fair to her little one. I’ve seen a surgeon asked to leave the OR, when news of his child going to the ER got to him even though the kid wasn’t hurt that bad. It’s just too important of a job.

I kind of pegged El Bastardo as either Cheech or a Carlos Mencia impersonation of a Mexican. Get him back he was entertaining.

I just think there is too much finger pointing at religion. We both know Christianity has a LONG history of atrocities. And have we already forgotten about the so-called Christian terrorists from the IRA? Nobody seems to mention them. My point is that many religions have radical elements. Using blanket statements about Islam does us no good in the long run. The perception in the Muslim world is that we don’t respect their religion. And you know that talking about someones religion is as bad as talking about someones mama.

Your padre El Bastardo mentioned that piece about Mexicans being less dangerous that Muslims - I corrected him by hopefully enlightening him to the fact that Muslims is not a race as insinuated. If you missed it then you too should look into the name that I mentioned and you both will make the correlation in what I was saying. He compared the race and religion not me! As far as your interjection about me being stoned “YOU ARE DESPARATELY REACHING FOR STRAWS IN HOPES OF SOUNDING SMART” I am American - Born in the USA and I love my Country. I could care less what others do in other places unless it directly affects me or US interests such as our safety, economy and quality of life.

As far as Palin goes - go read about the things that I suggested to El Bastardo and write again so that we can discuss prenatal testing and screening, how mothers activities (or lack thereof ) can exasperate certain conditions, and the role of nurture in all child development. I agree that, as Vice President would have access to all the help that she needs for her son. I wish that this type of help were available for all special needs children.

I quote again that I am Voting Republican because I like the way that they cleaned up the illegal immigrant situation in New Orleans. McCain/Palin have the same militia “shotgun” approach so I love them.

I don’t sleep very well knowing that there is still people out there that does not recognize that before we can commit to helping anyone, any where we have to help and preserve our country and the wellbeing of our citizens.

If my neighbor’s house is burning, the first thing that I am going to do is to make sure that mine is not on fire, and that my children and family are safe. THEN I will help put out the other fire and invite my neighbors to my home until they can move on.

Now I pose a questions to you…How can we be a beacon of freedom by yoking our citizens with the despair of footing the bill? This my esteemed new friend is called tyranny of the majority and not democracy.

Wow! These posts remind me of the high school bickering associated with the callow animosities of unbridled discourse. You all make your points, and apparently stick to them. Sides I won’t take, positions I will. I was a private contractor doing home improvements and home maintenance. The illegal immigrants who work for seven to ten dollars and hour in large numbers, say seven or ten also, can out work me, do it quicker for cheaper. Not necessarily better mind you. I can not compete successfully with that type of competition and stay in business. So who is at fault me having lived here my entire life or those who are here illegally working below scale in numbers that preclude me from earning a profitable living? I had a real estate investor from India tell me that I was over priced and that he could get someone to flip his houses for considerably less. I brought to his attention that he had often contracted me to fix the mistakes that the cheaper contractors had left him. I was told that this was a global economy and that I needed to get with the current pricing if I were to stay in business. Here is an Indian immigrant telling me in my country that I have to work for him for less because the global economy sets my wages. I think not, I told him he could find someone else to do his work because this was my country and I was not going to provide my services and expertise for pennies on the dollar. I have not worked for him since nor will I again. I believe this is the frustration that most of us Americans are dealing with and it makes us mad that our country would allow this to happen. A point of reference for the record.

I like your honest position and have a respect for you. I guess that that was the point that I started out trying to make but it got filtered through my extreme frustration channel when I was called a “beech” and I took it to a another level.

It seems like “the powers that be” are not considering people like you, me or even the future of our nation. I remember when jobs like newspaper routes, pizza delivery, snow and leaf removal, mowing lawns, washing cars and babysitting were some of the jobs that our youth would do to earn extra money - whether it was for college savings or something they wanted more immediate. Often people who needed a quick patch in their budget would pick up this side work too. They were able to earn as much as they were willing to work for it and through this some of our young people learned pride, responsibility and independence. Now these jobs are taken over by illegal immigrants, who don’t pay taxes so neither the money or the jobs are recycled.

The workers that you mentioned receiving 7-10 dollars an hour (we both know that this can be for 10-15 hours a day) multiplied by the amount of (known) illegals puts us at billions of dollars in lost tax revenues each year. The illegal women who have had children within our borders collect welfare while working off the book jobs - thus putting some families incomes at thousands of tax free dollars a week.

Neither of these two clowns running for office have given any hint that they have acknowledgement of the problem that we are facing and neither seem willing to go the “unpopular” way of unraveling it.

The word democracy describes a form of government in which the people hold the supreme power completely under a free electoral system. Literally there are no true democracies, nor will there every be in terms of government because the people (all of them) would have to vote on everything from whether to purchase office stationary to who to assign parking spaces.

Well I dont think either party is going to tackle the border issues any time soon. Unless a terrorist walks across and blows up a school, nobody is going to touch it. It is wishful thinking at best.

Kathy, you explained your position a bit in response, checking your own situation first and/or caring less about what happens to others’ are completely different things. So I guess we can agree.

I would much rather see the Mexicans stay, and be given ID, and pay taxes. I say we send the fucking pan-handlers I see on every street corner to Mexico instead. I havent seen a Mexican street peddler yet God bless them.

As for the Mexicans stealing the jobs of our youth, I hate to say it but our youth dont want to work and their parents dont seem to have a problem supporting them. I dont have time to find the info but research has been done to find out the percentage of highschool kids with jobs has dropped dramatically. Just like the street pan-handlers, its called being LAZY. There are plenty of fast-food joints, game stores, big name stores like Walmart/Target etc for our kids to work at, jobs that are much harder for the un-documented/aliens to attain and be payed cash for. the bottom line is that they dont want to, too busy macking on bitches or getting there smoke on.

I can think of still another solution: Force Mexican and other South American governments to be more accountable to their people. We give them billions of dollars each year with zero oversight or accountability, other billions they earn in trade. It’s really sad that only a small fraction of this money goes to creating jobs, improving schools, developing housing opportunities and healthcare programs. All of the these things would increases the quality of life in a country and more people would want to either stay and not flee in desperation, or wait as their Visas are approved to migrate. The situation in some of these countries boarders between fraud and criminality and could only be improved and addressed through world accountability and interventions, not just the USA.

I understand and respect you for saying that you would like to see illegals stay and given ID (SS#) so that they can pay taxes, but please enlighten me of any possible solutions to the following foreseen problems:

1) What will happen to our rule of law if we bend it from being a felon for illegally entering our borders and upgrade it to dignified citizen? Would all other felon citizens have a right to expunge their felonies and have full rights restored?

2) What would happen to our social security and Medicare system whereas some paid into it for 35 years and the new arrivals can get a Social Security card at 66 and start receiving lifetime benefits at 67? Would it seem logical that we would inherit all of the elderly and disable worldwide? All they would have to do is sneak in and apply for benefits.

3) What could be the cut-off? Would we just completely do away with Homeland Security and the US immigration rule that you cannot receive legal resident status if you have worked illegally in the US?

4) Lastly, whom would making the millions of illegals citizens help and who would it hurt?

Wall Street is my city and I saw the biggest panhandling episode last week that I care to every see again :-} but this can’t be guaranteed because the UN is also here and thousands of diplomats come each year with their hands extended.

Squibster- I do feel for you man. I’m sure your work is good and your prices are fair. You probably have a family and a lifestyle to support. But the fact is hungry immigrants can outprice you (maybe not outwork). I don’t know how you get around that. It’s not just your industry, in my industry people are going offshore to get surgery done…because it’s cheaper. Who are these people? Americans, maybe your neighbor. Guess who gets to take care of the screwups when they get back? So I feel for you.
We can’t change our price structure because we live in America and everything else costs.

Kathy- Please quit moaning about the illegals. If you were so unfortunate to have been born south of the border you would sing another tune. Birth in the U.S. doesn’t make us special. However, for every worker there is an employer. Mexicans aren’t employing Mexican immigrants to come here to work, Americans are employing them. That’s where your ire should be aimed.

By the way El Bastardo, the elected officials in Mexico aren’t like Obama…far from it, PAN and PRI are both right leaning conservative parties. There is no interest in building sustainable jobs for the lower classes to keep them in the country. Their answer to poverty and substandard healthcare is “go north”. I see them daily.

Skewering? I don’t think so, one purpose is served because our Padre El Bastardo seems to be reading something, somewhere just look at his new postings - if not reading at least thinking.

I challenge you to think and the answer least any one of the four questions above, or can you?

As far as my ire is concerned, I detest felons ……. No let me make it more clear, I detest any person with complete disregard to our laws and freedoms, and that includes kidnappers, child rapists, rapists in general, terrorists, sympathizers, illegal immigrants, robbers, murders, embezzlers, etc. I see no degrees for disregard of law and order, if you break one law and get away with it you will break any and all others because it would take the same consciousness that a person lacked by breaking the first law to prevent them from breaking others.

I take that challenge back, READ WHAT IS WRITTEN ABOVE (to mrace) and use it as food for thought in knowing that illegal immigrants will never be granted citizenship status, now or in the future without a complete collapse of our society as we know it. Also understand that this will also never happen because millions of people like me are fighting hard to preserve our society and way of life; it’s called NATIONAL PATRIOTISM. Republicans, not Democrats have the best solution for cleaning up our nation and borders.

Hello, Hello El Bastardo are you there? I really didn’t mean for you to eat bitch soup and die slow :-} JUST STOP REFERRING TO WOMEN AS BITCHES.

In my heartfelt opinion illegal immigrants needs to gain a comprehensive understanding that as hard as it may be for you, you have to solve the problems within their government, you have the power so start getting to it. I, we feel your pain in coming to America and working for little or nothing, through harsh and hostile environments just to be able to send a little something home. This may be working for now; but this is not a long-term solution, for you, your children, elders or countries.

I don’t want to “go south” again, but often those who succeed abroad by achieving a good education and go on to become doctors and lawyers, etc. Rarely go back to help the people. You have many lawyers who have the ability and means to draft whatever it takes to bring the plight of your people to the United Nations. Instead, they take the “I got mine attitude” only returning to their countries to flaunt their wealth.

El Bastardo, each day I see small Mexican children, full of hope and dreams. God willing one day these small children with the bright eyes and free smiles will be “the ones” that will lead to remarkable changes for you all and begin to restore Mexico to it’s rightful, dignified place in the world. Mexico have all the right resources, terrine, willpower and labor to be a great nation again, just as it was with the Mayans.
