Why would you get your blood pressure up over this crap? It doesn’t matter if she said the attacker was white or black…it was a LIE. I think describing the attacker as being a tall black man just makes it easier to inflame racial tension, which is likely what this idiot was trying to do.

This girl is an idiot, who was looking to be the star of an October surprise, and got found out. Who is playing the race card? Seems like only a misguided McCain supporter with dreams of being a heroine. You can’t pin this on the McCain campaign (other than that stupid Penn. communication director). Of course McCain didn’t order this. But desperate people are now doing desperate things.
The College Republicans did the right thing: DISTANCED themselves from her and quickly. The idea is to stay above the fray. Let’s not be coy, we know that there are still a decent number of racists in this country. That being said, your teams job is to make sure any racist-types voting for McCain or against Obama (there is a distinction) are kept quiet and out of site at least until the election is over.
Our sides job is to keep Jesse Jackson-types or ultra-left wing types gagged and locked up in a cellar at least until this thing is over.

Charles Stuart Boston 1989 – While this guy is the scum of the earth, if the police are told by people who are shot, that someone else shot them, the police are going to look for the suspect. The fact that someone says their assailant is black shouldn’t inflame anything. Once it comes out that it was a lie, the instigator should be punished for misleading the police. Even this example is not an excuse to declare that all suspects are innocent because some other incident was racialy tinged. This is the problem with identity politics.
Susan Smith – TRN has a time machine. Let’s go back to the lake. We’ll take the kids out of the car, put her ass in the trunk, and then push it into the lake.
