When President Bush tapped Henry Paulson to cook up the bailout deal, he knew it had to pass quickly because the whole point was to shore up “investor confidence.” He did not want a run on banks.

Well, this required him to allow his Democrat congress to load up a crap sandwich full of pork and payoffs and sell it to us as a “bi-partisan” bill. When Democrats looked at what they had wrought, feared to pass it themselves. They could have easily passed it, but they feared being held responsible for what they were doing to us. So, some Republicans weakly caved in, and now we are on our way to bailing out Democrat’s favorite unions, who have nearly driven their own industries out of business. it was too late.

With all of the tax money being proposed to “save” these people, when will we finally be able to just walk onto a car lot and drive off what we want? Or maybe walk into a store, pick out what we like, and take it for nothing, because in reality, we may be paying for it.

This UAW gift that Dems are proposing is the best laugh I have had in awhile. It is so incredible to see Nancy Pelosi trying to design automobiles of the future, while she is really paying off their union friends. Ask an Obama voter about it, see what you will get.

There are no “bailouts” or “rescues.” There are taxes. If we are made to save these failing industries, we want the very products we are paying for then. This playing at socialism is just a tease, let’s go all the way now and ruin everything, just so we can laugh and start over the right way.

Just a reminder people, Congress spends the money. The President can’t spend a dime. So when they blame Bush for this one, remind them who holds the pursestrings. From the war to the bailout, it’s been Democrat’s at the helm since 2006. That alone speaks to how rigorously American’s researched their vote this November. I hope they have enjoyed the past two years, because more of the same is coming.
