Everyone has put in their $0.02, so TRN will too.

Charles Johnson, the man behind LGF, is a good blogger.

He used to be a liberal, but woke up when he realized Islam was still trying to destroy the west for the last 1300 years or so.

He is still a liberal in his heart. It shows in his eagerness to attack Christian groups and play the race card every month or so. These things are simply part of LGF.

His demonizing of Gellar and Spencer is ridiculous, and his removal of the little cartoon terrorist was disheartening. 

The defense of the President’s lies about bowing and the justification of flying a pizza chef in are laughable. It is the appearance of those things that are the problem. Just like the appearance of AIG bonuses, big corporate junkets, etc.

LGF’s exposure of inaccuracies in Expelled was good, and it was one of the few places right of center that stood up for Chuck Darwin.

All of that being said, LGF is quite simply one of the great blogs. It is not the mouthpiece of conservatism, nor the anti-Jihad central it once was.

It is this slight tinge of liberalism that will be exploited by the left, and they will welcome Charles Johnson home as the straight David Brock. If it isn’t the Huff Post, it will be some other Soros-type organ offered to him. The libs of today want a new Blinded by the Right.  They need it to counter balance the ineptitude of their chosen leader.

Perhaps Charles will remain his own man, but I suspect the left will see an opening and try to bring LGF to their way of doing business.
