LGF, & The Snuggies Of Conservatism
Charles Johnson first began his journey back left, when he renounced the effort to combat Jihad.
He cited his reasons were because other anti-Jihad bloggers were racist, or cavorting with racists.
Charles then put extra effort into rooting out evil creationist activists, who don’t agree with scientific consensus on many issues, especially evolution. There were some good moments, like when LGF slammed Expelled for smearing Darwin by quote mining. (Ben Stein making Dawkins say we could have been alien seed was awesome however. Dawkins advanced that theory on a radio show as well. Too good.)
After months of being the “Dog the Bounty Hunter” of creationists, Charles has decided actual fiscal conservatism mixed with libertarianism is too extreme. Glenn Beck is an apostle of crazy, Robert Spencer cavorts with racists, the Tea Parties are the copyrighted property of Ron Paul.
After all of that, LGF went along with the talking point that the DHS report was not targeting everyone to the left of Marx. The very first comment in response to The Daily Beast piece he participated in was:
- Fox “News” has really gone loco recently with Beck and a general anything goes approach. I wonder if Homeland Security will infiltrate the mobs they want to provoke. And maybe fox News itself. One can hope.
Tool.
Why did Napolitano apologize if the right was so off the mark?
He was also used by the Daily Kos and the cartoonishly elitist Vanity Fair, magazine of choice for the pseudo intellectual. (What’s with that Wolcott? He looks like Igor after a brutal prison rape.)
That’s really the sad part for our Vichy Republicans, they don’t know they are the servants of defeat.
The 2008 Republican platform was moderate, moderate, moderate. It took us straight into socialist policies & we lost. The moderate answer is: Blame Sarah Palin, and move left of going socialist.
TRN said Charles will go Huff Postal on 4/11/09 and it is so weeping, creeping sad that LGF has gone moderate lemming.
___
Now for the new moderate RINO cabal:
David Frum: A guy who got the President his coffee a few times, worked for Rudy Giuliani for a few minutes, and now is the self proclaimed leader of an ideology that handed Barack Obama pre-packaged socialism, or Instant 1984, just add water. He hates Sarah Palin too.
Steve Schmidt: Senior Campaign Strategist who lost the McCain campaign in 2008. Before that he was ‘reduced’ out of Lamar Alexander’s campaign. Before that he was Communications Director for Matt Fong, who lost. Before that he lost for Tim Leslie. Before that he lost for Will T. Scott. He’s kind of like Bob Shrum, but not as good.
The New York Times praised his managing of the McCain campaign. That’s really all that needs to be said.
Many of the GOP in Congress: Some were booed at the tea parties. The others hid from the tea parties.
Megan McCain: Favorite tool of the left. Here she is at the Huff Postal:
- McCain ridiculed the party her father headed this past election, declaring that “old school Republicans” were “scared shitless” of the changing landscape.
- .
We are scared shitless… that MSNBC will give you a show. She said this to the liberal imposter Log Cabin Republicans. Steve Schmit kissed their ass too.
The Log Cabin Republicants are funded by a George Soros liberal mini me. Sorry moderates.
The self proclaimed tech wizard, Megan McCain, missed that the real Gay conservatives have formed their own real conservative group. They even talk about Reagan without laughing or making fun of him to impress liberal donors friends. This has made GOProud the early target of liberal hacks and our illustrious moderates have missed the boat. They literally have left real gay conservatives out in the cold, while trying to bring gays into the Republican party. Good job.
Here is a comment from the Gay Patriot’s post:
A Log Cabin ally points out the group broke with other gay groups by endorsing John McCain last year, and denies it’s weak in D.C., noting it has a big national convention next week featuring, among others, Meghan McCain and Steve Schmidt.
- I just had to laugh, Meghan McCain, the attention seeking not very bright daughter of John McCain?? That is who LCR has as their big draw at a national convention???
Where are the serious politicians??? - .

There are people doing pub crawls in snuggies now.
This debate over gays is the new race card.
I think in 2012, it will be the political football.
“They played the Gay Card” – losers in 2012

It’s time to have a tighter platform.
Fiscal restraint and no meddling with the Constitution.
The gay marriage ban was a bad idea.
It’s more of a cultural issue, and it should be ripped from the hands of judges.
That Gathering Storm deal is suspect too. What the hell traction are you going to get with making gayness look like approaching tornadoes?
“Oh no! The gay is coming!”
Then it hits a tractor mechanic
“Damn. After the gay storm took me, I feel the need to go buy some drapes.”
Silly.
