Talking points, factoids & Honest Scrap

The TRN linkfest love orgy shall commence:

No Sheeples Here won The Full Metal Jacket Reach-Around Award spot on The Other McCain:

No Sheeps also features this nifty piece of photoshoppery:

Luke Skywalker: Look at him. He’s headed for that small Republic.
Han Solo: I think I can get him before he gets there. He’s almost in range.
Ben Kenobi:
[with sudden realization] That’s no Republic. It’s a Government.
Han Solo: It’s too big to be a Government.

Also No Sheeples Here has We the Common Trash, an American blogging masterpiece.

Hot Air is talking about the slipping confidence Americans have for Obamunism.

Camille Paglia talks about Palin’s prospects and quite correctly states what was obvious last year: Palin won the debate against Joe Biden.

The Other McCain has Paul Krugman crying that the stimulus was too small. Krugman is supposed to be an economist but I think this guy could give him a run for his money:

Little Miss Attila features a break-down of President Obama’s decision making process. Not only is it going to make you queasy, it’s probably all too true.

Left Coast Rebel has linked an awesome article of truth that explains why are all jobless and in an economic Armageddon: It’s because the big money is scared out of their minds by an autocratic Obamunist Manifesto of centralized control. Have you ever gotten a job from poor people? Okay, aside from elected office…

Stogie put up NRO’s I Still Hate You Sarah Palin bit and it is good.

Theo Spark put up this awesome cartoon from The People’s Cube:

Snapped Shot shows how The New York Times is a bunch of class warfare scumbags with their piece Ruins of the Second Gilded Age which featured fraudulent photos. I bet they were sad at the Times that things aren’t as bad as Obama wants them to be just yet.

The linkfest will be a little short this round as TRN addresses the matter of No Sheeples Here tagging TRN with the Honest Scrap Award:

According to the ancient tradition, I am required to share ten HONEST things about myself, so here we go:

#1. The Rude Dog was born in NY.

#2. Dogs are far superior to cats IMO.

#3. The Rude Dog logo is a boxer. My wife took the photo.

#4. I learned Photoshop on my own and bought it. (unlike the million other people who ripped Adobe off.)

#5. One of the first things I did with it, was the CAIR Bears.

#6. Every blogger wants their every post to be as successful as the CAIR Bears post.

#7. Running a website or a blog is tough, but if you love what you are doing and can affect the occasional news story, it’s worth it.

#8. I do my best writing when I am arguing online or engaged in a flame war. That’s really too bad because I am tired of flame wars, I think.

#9. Once when I was working a contract job, I saw a guy pull TRN up on his monitor. He was supposed to be working but I have to admit it was awesome to catch someone checking out the site.

#10. The Rude Dog was once employed by the Republican Party. They didn’t know what they had and the stories about aimless moderates with no guts are sadly true.

Now, also according to ancient rites of the Internets, I must name 10 bloggers for the Honest Scrap Award:

Left Coast Rebel – Just plain busy and a good blogger. You can browse Left Coast and then go embarrass all of your friends with your newly sharpened political acumen.

Atlas Shrugs – Atlas is one of the best bloggers ever. Her coverage on Iran was the best on the web. I will tell you that Atlas is crazy. Of course, watching your neighbors get incinerated might make you crazy. Receiving death threats calling you a Zionist whore and threatening your rape might make you a little crazy. Having to campaign for Allen West because country club moderates want a Democrat with an elephant mask might make you crazy. Joan of Arc was crazy too. Atlas made it onto Keef’s Worst Person in the World segment, how awesome.

Dr. Bulldog & Ronin – A bad ass blog and not just because the dog picture is cool. DB&R kicks ass on Jihad and a host of other issues. Every week there are news stories that you only see there. A highly underrated blog.

Red Planet Cartoons – This guy can’t get enough attention. The cartoons are works of art and the message is always dead on balls accurate.

Midnight Blue – A great site and she has the best post on the passing of Michael Jackson.

Gay Patriot

The Jawa Report – The Mos Eisley of the Intertoobs.
