C’mon you left wing trolls that read these words, you know President Obama is withholding cheese from you like rats with his latest “trial balloon.” No public option? Conservatives aren’t biting, at least not in the numbers Axlerod and Rahm want.
They are gauging the left’s reaction however. Welcome to our world. We have known every time this loser President has held his wet finger up on the wind. This one is too obvious. Perhaps he thinks it’s a bold negotiating tactic to take the heat off of his Democrats in Congress.
How many of you Obama supporters are finally seeing the pathetic charade this man is? Is this really what you voted for?
As much as I relish his disastrous handling of health care, it is sad to see my fellow Americans get fooled over and over again by a man who must read to them and hide behind the ghost of the Bush years. How foolish do you liberals feel when this guy blames big business for funding health care resistance, after he cut a back room deal with the very people he blames? He is a shameless and you must lie to yourselves just to keep your faith in him alive.

I have had some very good experiences dealing with co-ops. I would prefer a non-profit co-op, personally. But then again I live in a fairly rural part of Colorado. They could always add a public option later if needed.

Why do we always get a false dichotomy in politics? Are governmental tyrannies on the one hand or corporate greed on the other the only two health-care schemes that our ‘leaders’ can imagine?
And just when did we all get the idea that health insurance is supposed to pay for our every mole and hangnail and ingrown toenail? Insurance is traditionally used for catastrophe not annoyance. Americans like Obama because he claims to offer them a life-time of governmental babysitting. Are there any adults left in America?

Being President of the U.S. is one of the toughest jobs on the planet. He came into office at a very tough time, with the economy in meltdown. I find him to be a very intelligent, thoughtful, and most of all, non-judgemental individual who does not talk down to people even when they disagree with him. If you wish to have any kind of intelligent and thoughtful discourse at all, I don’t see how calling the president “a loser” or using terms like “pathetic charade” is going to do anything but turn people off. If you want to just jump up and down and yell and call names, then you’ve succeeded. But don’t expect anyone to take you seriously.

Charles, we are LED to believe he is a smart man. We have no idea how he did in college since he has something to hide or is ashamed of something enough to seal his transcripts.
We are LED to believe he is a great speaker…until his teleprompter fails and the “uh,uh, uhs” start flying like farts in the wind.
Most of all, we were LED to believe that he was all things to all men. Look at his campaign trail. He “y’all”-ed in Texas, he was a fan of the Rays in Tampa and a fan of the Phils in Philly. He puts himself on TV everytime he feels he has to defend himself or when things are positive, yet sends in the clowns ( Biden ) when there is bad news or a screwup.
If he wants to make himself look and seem infallible, then those of us who do not buy it are going to laugh and point every time he tumbles. Even Bush made fun of himself but Obama just wants to be put on everyones’ pedestal. NOT HAPPENING WITH THOSE WHO USE THEIR OWN EYES TO SEE.

Hooooooold up there frankie man, you are coming in hot and too low. First, blacks are not the only people on welfare or uses medicare. Second, it appears you have no clue why welfare of medicare exist.
These are programs used by financially disadvantaged people when the USA economy tanks with high unemployment rates. This usually occurs when there are more job applicants than there is work for the populace.
There is probably few people, whether black, white, hispanic or any other race that haven’t sought WORK over WELFARE. Working gives you more money and prestige. So, you are way off base with your thinking.
The continued need and use of Welface is because fail to produce non-discriminatory and selective job hiring practices in America. And you know what race of people, mostly minorities and unskilled or experienced people, get left out when the public sector, federal, and State governments hiring practice and job assignment.
Instead of employers training people for the work force they need; they keep Welfare in play because they choose to hire on experience. No Sir, my friend, blacks and other people(white, hispanic, asian, green or blue) who use or is on welfare like making money from a job like the next man or woman- working pays better.
So, retract your racist thinking you put to words and print; and put some logic to the things you say on why does Welfare and Medicare exist.
These are programs designed with the principles in mind that at some period in a year or time, there will be a higher ratio of Americans looking for jobs or not skilled or experience for jobs than there will be jobs available in communities and places across America.
Unfortunately, job opportunities are the lowest and less likely in the black community and the poorest most rural white communities as well.
Educate yourself Sir, your ignorance and racism is showing terribly in the statements you have posted here Frankie.
I hope you will become a more intelligent in your future post to blogs about how America works in terms of human rights and humanitarian assistance to people here in the USA and across the world.

I always find it interesting that so many who don’t like Obama are so SURE that they alone are the truth, the light, and the way, and that anyone who supports Obama is an idiot who can’t think for themselves.
You have an opinion. That’s all it is. It means a lot to you. That’s fine. However, it doesn’t change the fact that the majority of the country voted for Obama and likes him and appreciates that he’s tackling some very tough issues.

“Frankie” may not be real, but people like that do exist and it is ignorant to think otherwise. There is a reason groups like the KKK still exist, but it is just as ignorant to believe that most or all white people are racist. Yes, there will always be crazy people that form groups like the KKK or the neo nazis, but a surprising amount of white people are certainly uncomfortable around black people. Just as I believe there are a significant number of black people who are uncomfortable around white people. The civil rights movement happened in the 50s and 60s, only 50 years ago. We have made significant progress since then, but realize that that is also in the lifespan of many older Americans living today. They could easily hold the same beliefs, regardless of the changing times and laws. In general, conservative Americans do not like change and often strive to find conformity. There is nothing wrong with that, but when you introduce a different people with a different culture there are inherently going to be problems. I am a black man and I have met several “Frankie”s in my life. They are real. At the same time, making it seem like there is a greater number of them than there really is, is also very wrong.
