LGF’s Fortress of Dorky Middle Aged Stalkers

Last week TRN was visited by LGF lizard Salamantis, a man who’s username tells you he always wanted to be a He-Man action figure. Salamantis was quickly dispatched because all he had was faux outrage and a ghey card.

LGF then blocked The Rude Dog’s main unit and further retreated into their bunker of dorks, a place that does not allow guest comments as one must always be approved by Commander Charles. The window for this privilege is limited to a small amount of time during the week, during which various rats will scurry in. This studio 54 mentality should be expected of young girls trying to get into Lady Gaga’s website, but for fifty year-old men to be huddled at the door of LGF, well… it tells us something about LGFers.

Here is a screenshot of the demographics at LGF. These older dudes, supposedly college educated, congregate on there and decide which blogger they will target next:

The middle aged stalkers jump back and forth between home base and their prospective targets. Through private comment threads and email, they petition their leader for new targets. As the lists below show, you see Michelle Malkin coming up on the menu. Just yesterday, LGF posted an attack on Malkin for her Chicago Olympics bit.

Nobody at TRN knows who jumpinginpools is, but I thought I had eaten some of that wonderland cake when I went in there. Strange place for fifty year-old stalkers to hangout in.

It is sad to see the formerly great LGF reduced to the aging and perverted Studio 54 of blogs. A place where middle aged men obsess over their sexual fetishes for Pam Geller, Michell Malkin, Ann Coulter and many other conservative women by lashing out at them. Acting out the classic “he only picks on you because he likes you” behaviors, Charles Johnson has single-handedly taken something great, something that network news organizations once feared, and turned it into a shadow of The Huffington Post.

What once was a place to take apart fauxtography, became a screeching pulpit that finally used fauxtography against it’s perceived foes. Here is an excerpt from When Champions Become Chumps:

The upside to this tragedy is that Charles is no longer a threat to his opponents that he once was. Now, he runs a pathetic gang of middle aged sycophants, who lap up his phony displays of social justice crusades and aid him in assailing the people who helped establish his blog in the first place.

Here are some of the things LGF was saying about TRN before Salamantis came over to the site. It’s a microcosm of LGF’s torch and pitchfork style. What they are talking about is #969 below. We made it an obvious number and wrote the text in a hyperbolic fashion so that everyone would know it was fake. LGF’s actions were an embarrassment by themselves, so we just put in some “flavor.” It’s hard to believe college educated fifty year-olds were jumping back and forth thinking it was supposed to be authentic.
