Over a long period of time there is a cyclical pattern. Over a shorter period of time there is also a cyclical pattern: Every year people see spring, summer, fall, and winter, in varying degrees depending on the larger cycle. To (further) ruin an economy via costly mandates passed down to consumers, more costs to business so businesses can't afford to hire, is an irresponsible way to handle any problem regardless of anyone's opinion.
