So, we begin with the ridiculous Esquire turd that someone spent actual money on, Whaddaya Mean Obama Hasn’t Done Anything?

(Whispery dramatic voice on) They begin with defying conventional wisdom…

• Here’s the conventional wisdom in a single paragraph: Three hundred and sixty-four days after he was elected president, Obama is still stuck in Iraq, hasn’t closed Guantánamo, is getting deeper into Afghanistan, hasn’t accomplished health-care reform or slowed the rise in unemployment. His promises of bipartisanship are a punch line (see above). And there’s still no peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. What a failure! What a splash of cold water in the face of all our bold hopes!
• But the conventional wisdom is insane. Consider the record:

#1. “A week before he was sworn in, Obama jammed part two of the bank bailout down the throat of his own party — a $350 billion accomplishment.”

The TARP, a.k.a piece of shit spending bill DEMOCRATS supported enthusiastically, was not “jammed” down any liberals throats anywhere. This is complete fantasy. President Bush made it known he would aid incoming President Obama if Obama wanted the 2nd half of the funds:

“I told him that if he felt he needed the $350 billion, I would be willing to ask for it,” President Bush told reporters yesterday. However, he also “hasn’t asked me to make the request,” Bush told reporters.  (That is actually from the same article this guy linked, did he even read it?)

Also, printing/taxing/robbing $350 billion from the American people is not an “accomplishment.”

#2. Two days after he was sworn in, Obama banned the use of “harsh interrogation” and ordered the closing of Guantánamo.

My fu**ing favorite. The talking point for this con-job was that “America doesn’t torture & these practices have made us less safe.” Fine. Put the torturers in jail.

Huh? No trial? No evidence? Weren’t Muslims tortured? Okay, so now isn’t the Muslim world pissed off that we tortured Muslims and let someone get away with it? How is that better?

There was never any torture. It was total “get Bush/Cheney” bullshit. If we tortured Muslims, than someone would pay the price. It’s one of the biggest lies of our times. If it isn’t a lie, than we can’t let torturers go because that would be a recruiting tool for the enemy.

This is how stupid modern liberalism has become. Closing Gitmo is lame too.

The result: The only terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11. How about some more bowing to Saudis combined with your “new tone” bullshit?

We have heard the “new tone”, it goes “Allah hu Ackbar!” followed by gunshots and screams of Americans dying.

#3. A day later, Obama reversed George W. Bush’s funding cutoff to overseas family planning organizations — saving millions of lives with the stroke of a pen.

WTF?!?!? He just reversed an abortion decision. There will no “saving of lives” you assholes because the “lives” will be cut out of the womb. However, some abortion doctors will cash in as they will have “their work cut out for them.”

This is Orwellian Liberalism 101. The extermination of “undesireable” babies. We will soon be like the U.K., where they kill all of the Down’s babies. Get your amniocentesis and cull the human herd.

Abortions = lives saved is equal to Jobs lost = jobs saved or created.

#4. Three days after that, Obama gave a green light to the California car-emissions standards that Bush had been blocking for six years — an important step on the road to cleaner air and a cooler planet.

Funny how cavemen didn’t need billions of taxpayer dollars to live in harmony with nature. Of course, the cavemen were smart enough to know they had no power over the weather until they threw some virgins into a volcano.

#5. Two weeks after that, Obama signed the stimulus bill — a $787 billion accomplishment.

If spending other people’s money is an accomplishment, then American teenage girls are the most “accomplished” citizens in world history.

#6. Ten days after that, Obama formally announced America’s withdrawal from Iraq.

Yeah, with no firm date because “conditions on the ground” are to be considered. Obama could have said “America will withdraw from Iraq in two weeks unless conditions on the ground are not conducive to withdrawal” and liberals would have trumpeted this from the mountaintops. Obama could have personally skull fu**ed every goat from Anbar to Fubar and the left would declare ” Obama formally announced America’s withdrawal from Iraq.” A worthless throw away talking point that is food for the stupid and faithful.

#7. A week later — we’re in early March now — Obama erased Bush’s decision to restrict federal funding for stem-cell research.

Another activist funding fantasy. Not one damn person has been helped by embryonic stem cells. Liberals deliberately do not differentiate between embryonic and adult stem cells because they want to confuse the issue. A few rats showed some progress. If this was the wave of future medicine, why aren’t private companies cashing in on “healing the crippled” and “growing back human organs”?

There’s a reason these guys need tax payer dollars, smart people with money know it’s bullshit. Perhaps down the road we will master human harvesting.

#8. In April and June, Obama forced Chrysler and GM into bankruptcy.

No, Obama tried to avoid bankruptcy and failed miserably. Mitt Romney was the guy who said they should go bankrupt. Nice try.

#9. In June, Obama reset the tone of our relations with the entire Arab world with a single speech — an accomplishment that the Bush administration failed to achieve despite a series of desperate PR moves (anyone remember Charlotte Beers?) and a “public diplomacy” budget of $1 billion a year.

Who remembers Charlotte Beers? How about that Samantha Power with her invading Israel crap? That’s a reset botton for ya.

The entire Arab world responded to Obama with the first attack (Ft. Hood) on American soil since 9/11, Iran killing people in the street, Muslims in Africa going completely bat shit, another attempted attack this Christmas and we can’t forget how cooperative those Islamniac pirates are. Keep that ransom money coming!

#10. Also in June, Obama unveiled the “Cash for Clunkers” program, a “socialist” giveaway that reanimated the corpse of our car industry — leading, for example, to the billion-dollar profit that Ford announced on Monday.

It is “socialist.” In a socialist program, the recipient of the socialism sees a monster profit, while the people paying the socialism see… guess…a job saved or created right?  Nope. They see less of their own fucking money

Why is it the the only U.S. car company not seized by the government showed a profit? GM should have seen a monster profit with all of that “stimulus” and pushing of green cars. Maybe it’s President Bush’s fault.

Here comes a laundry list of laughs:

I haven’t even mentioned Sonia Sotomayor, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the order to release the torture memos, (torture memos… that showed torture and we let them go right?)

Obama’s push for charter schools, (Obama: “Sen. McCain and I actually agree on charter schools. I doubled the number of charter schools in Illinois despite some reservations from teachers unions. I think it’s important to foster competition inside the public schools. Where we disagree is on the idea that we can somehow give out vouchers as a way of securing the problems in our education system.”)

Yeah, to hell with vouchers. Socialism only works on business, medicine and t-shirts. We can’t go around giving parents money to choose where their kids go to school.

his $288 billion tax cut, (Huh? Obama lifted our debt ceiling, will tax your ass off for healthcare, cut charitable donations, let Bush’s tax cuts expire, etc… Is this a serious attempt to say Obama saves us money?)

or the end of Bush’s war on medical marijuana.

STFU. All of you who believe these people want weed for meds can kiss my ass. If that is so, put it in a pill form bitches. It will never happen because so many dorks want their smoky.

Or the minor fact that he seems to have — with Bush’s help, it must be said — stopped the financial collapse, revived the credit markets, and nudged the economy toward 3.5 percent growth in the last quarter.

That would be a 3.5 percent recovery of what was lost. If your leg is cut of and only grows back to knee length, that is still a loss. A liberal would claim he gave you a leg-up.

Oh, and one more thing: President Obama is now a month or two from accomplishing the awesome and seemingly impossible task that eluded mighty presidents like FDR, LBJ, and WJC — health-care reform.

It didn’t elude them. Both the voters and those particular Presidents were smarter. Liberals today are constantly throwing the gas of government control on the fire of socialism. When you point out they are socialists they say “It’s fairness. It’s reform. It’s regulation. Gas is wet, it can’t catch on fire.”
