Amy Bishop Case Gets Even Worse

Oh goody! Words of TRN in blue.

“…friends and family yesterday described Braintree native Amy Bishop as an awkward introvert on the brink of losing her teaching job.”

Fine, fine. Nothing to see here…

.

James Anderson told the Herald his wife had been fighting the university for over a year about a tenure denial, and several months ago received a final decision. She was upset, but not overly emotional, approaching her appeal “like a game of chess,” he said.

.

Yeah… um, just wouldn’t take a hint because other people could read her bad reviews? A few lib writers said she got a good rating. That’s true, but they didn’t read the fine print:

.

She is hot but she tries to hide it.And she is a socalist [sic] but she only talks about it after class. (These are college students)

-

Extremely horrible teacher. All she does is read information from the book and never explains anything.

-

What a waste of a great resource. Dr Bishop is very intelligent but a horrible teacher. No point going to class, she will tell you to read and know the entire book. She does not teach but gives you a list of topics that you have to teach yourself.

-

Her lectures are disorganized, but if you read your book, you’ll get an A. I learned alot.

.

There are a ton of students talking about her disorganization and bad teaching skills. The more the students talk, the more it is clear she suffered from some “cool kid” syndrome and picked heavy favorites in her classes. Maybe students who somehow stumble on her “socialism” after class have an easier time. Tenure denied.

.

Bishop enjoyed telling collegues about being a suspect in a bombing:

.

Bishop was a suspect in the attempted bombing of Dr. Paul Rosenberg, who received a double-pipe bomb in the mail on Dec. 19, 1993. He ran from his Newton home with his wife, escaping without injury. The bomb never exploded.

“She was quite cavalier about it,” Fluckiger said of Bishop’s description of her interview with police. She said Bishop “grinned” as she described being asked by cops whether she’d ever taken stamps off an envelope and fastened them onto something else. “I cannot tell you what the grin meant.”

.

She blew her brother away in 1986 & put a gun up to an auto tech’s chest.

.

Her mother was also a member of the police personnel board.

.

From the 1986 police report:

.

Amy concluded the investigation by saying that she had previously made no attempt to cover up the hole in her bedroom wall which apparently, according to her, was the result of the previous discharge in her bedroom.

.

Killed her brother.

Pointed a gun at a guy’s chest.

Shot a hole in bedroom wall.

Suspect in a pipe bomb case.

Then she shot her colleagues.

It has nothing to do with her romanticized, revolutionary, socialist mindset either.

Somebody wasn’t paying attention to these people.
