Black Ops: Iran. Back Off: Hersh

About twenty years ago, so-called military experts were calling the future of warfare an electronic and virtual battlefield. A place where unmanned machines would carry the day.

Many of us knew this was crap. While there is no denying the effectiveness of drones, robots and long range weapons, the future is here and its small tactical units.

Small arms fire and even hand-to-hand combat carry the day. Enter our myriad Spec Ops and their heroic efforts we will read about in our golden years. These various units are bringing as much fight to the enemy as they possibly can. With the Democrat congress giving the President the green light on Spec Ops funding, one would think the nation is on the same page about Iran and the other crazy Islamists.

This is not to be the case however. We can start with Seymour Hersh, who is trying hard to blame the Prez for using up equipment in Iraq (all approved by Democrat leaders) and is laying doubt about our missions once again.

Hersh is an “award winning” journalist, which means he writes stuff liberals want to hear. Here’s a sample from the all American Hersh;

My Lai Massacre – A massacre did take place, and the ARMY, not journalists, stopped it, handled it and saved over a dozen lives. There was a near American on American firefight over the results of the slaughter. This is the part most ignored by liberals. The big government debacle and pissing contest that followed should have been a lesson in big government. Hersh and others were ecstatic that the Army tried to hide the slaughter from the public. They slather over this as justification for spitting on McCain’s fellow veterans and calling them “baby killers.”

Project Jennifer – The Soviets lost a suspected nuke sub NW of Hawaii in 1974 and we were going to drag it up and see if it had nukes on it. Hersh was going to publish a story about it but he was convinced to wait because it might cause an “international incident.” We can see today that the liberal press does not care about causing “incidents.” What happened? (BTW: There were nukes on it.)

AL-Shifa pharmaceutical factory- There has been a long-standing argument over the validity of this strike. The funny thing is, the whiners who say we were wrong here (Hersh among them), are the biggest supporters of Richard Clarke. It was Clarke who signed off on its connection to Osama Bin Laden and supported bombing it.

Grab-An-Arab Prison – Alright, Abu Ghraib. If you think this place was torture, you have never had your head sawn off with a knife. I will quote Hersh here;

Basically what happened is that those women who were arrested with young boys, children, in cases that have been recorded, the boys were sodomized, with the cameras rolling, and the worst above all of them is the soundtrack of the boys shrieking. That your government has. They’re in total terror it’s going to come out.

Never Happened.

This is the kind of crap you hear after too many drinks and someone wants to start talking politics.

He is also a JFK conspiracy nut and he likes his “anonymous” sources.

Mr. Hersh also wrote a book with Scott Ritter.

Here is Scott RitterReports said Mr Ritter, 44, had been charged with attempted child endangerment after arranging, in an online chatroom, to meet what he thought was a 16-year-old girl at a Burger King restaurant. The girl turned out to be an undercover policewoman. The case was later dismissed.

The was was dismissed because the cops can’t entrap. Scott Ritter keeping conditions of an Iraqi children’s prison secret before the invasion and the proclivity of Hersh to talk about sodomizing young boys, seems lost on everyone.

Liberals gearing up for the 2008 Election will throw everything at the public to turn this into 1974 all over again. They want Americans to hate our Intelligence community, hate President Bush and most of all they want us to hate our Spec Ops. They will turn the sacrifice of unsung heroes into nightmarish stories of rouge assassins and torturers.

This is the change you can believe in.
