The WSJ demonstrates the stupidity of liberal lawyers.
- But when the military punishes Muslim men by shaving off their beard, or by forcing them to disrobe - for a Muslim man that is a thousand times more cutting than a Westerner can imagine. And that’s what I was trying to dramatize. The reaction to what I did makes me very sad. I wish people paid as much attention to the suffering and torment in Guantanamo as they paid to the way I sought to dramatize it.”
Aw, poor Muslim…
For a Westerner, its a thousand times more cutting to see fellow westerners heads cut off on Jihadist videos.
Its a thousand times more cutting when you fly aircraft into our financial buildings.
Its a thousand times more cutting when one of our soldiers dies, because we don’t throw their lives away to blow up bookstores or disrupt mass transit.
Its a thousand times more cutting to see fellow Americans devote their time to Jihadist POWs who will work to destroy America for the rest of their lives, rather than represent the families of fallen soldiers. How about suing Iraq and Afghanistan for making us invade them in the first place?
One more thing:
- “…the men [detainees] are required to pull their shirts up to their chest, drop their pants, and then the corn-fed U.S. military sticks their thumbs under the prisoner’s underwear band and circles the prisoner’s torsos.”
- “…and then the corn-fed U.S. military… “
What does that mean?

“…and then the corn-fed U.S. military… “
That might make sense if the detainees were starving, but they aren’t they’re gaining weight.

Knowing about how the vast majority of lawyers feel about the U.S. Military, and considering the obvious low-grade, far-Left crudeness of this David Remes, I’d say that the “corn-fed” descriptive is meant to connote something to do with “fascist pigs”. I know that not all lawyers are in this camp, but it seems that most of them are, by far.

Exactly what we predicted would happen when SCOTUS extended Constitutional rights to terrorist - some ass hat lawyer would turn the trial into a circus. Lawyers are so predictable - especially lefties.
Can anyone say “William Kunstler”?
