You Don’t Know Jack About Lara Logan or the News Business

This week the story came to light about an assault on Lara Logan, the Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent for CBS. Thankfully, Lara Logan survived this attack and is showing great character in her willingness to return to the field.

She suffered an assault in which she was beaten and stripped before some women threw their bodies on top of her and the Egyptian military stepped in to rescue her from a mob of sex crazed… what? Egyptians? Muslims? Terrorists? Hooligans?

One article called them “barbarians.” Really? Some dudes with horned helmets rode in?

The position on the barbarian theory folks is that the Mubarak government had agents assault Lara Logan. It sounds plausible, if you understand what pathetic cesspools of corruption many Islamic nations really are, but then there is this story:

That reporter was in Pakistan… are pro-Mubarak agents in Pakistan? What the hell is predictable about it? It seems the moment western female ass is exposed to the air, Musli- excuse me, barbarian hands are there to grab it. The article says some male reporters have been sodomized as well.

The first story, the laughable “barbarians did it” story, even cited the Qur’an for us. WTF? (win the future) When has the news cited the Bible for the crap that goes on in the world. How about bearing false witness about what’s in the Obamacare bill? Can a citizen get verse over here? Don’t cite the Qur’an, we don’t care what it says.

Another lady reporter was molested in Tahrir Square, but she had a more realistic account of rowdy young dudes up to no good, not government agents. I guess her editors weren’t working over ways to excuse bad behavior and cite the Qur’an.

It is clear that media companies have been doing PR damage control for nations whose popular culture accepts the molestation of women against their will. Imagine if Europeans and Americans were hearing from our lady reporters that they were groped time and again by men of whatever Islamic controlled country they were reporting from. The very fact they hide this from us tells you they are selling a bullshit line disguised in some faux do-gooderism so that they can continue their sacred “war on terror is bad” narrative.

How many Americans would care that KSM got an aggressive bath is they knew his boys grabbed every woman’s ass in sight each day of their lives? Oh wait, they only grab infidel asses, so it’s okay.

The news is selling, selling you what you want to hear. When Al-Jizz refuses to cover Logan’s story and the MSM is busted hiding and suppressing stories of lady reporters getting man-handled in a sexually aggressive manner, it’s time to stand up say “WIN THE FUTURE?”

Seriously folks, we can tell foreign elements to keep their hands to themselves or we will publish every single ass grab. That’s the point of the power of the press, or did we forget? As far as Al-Jazzera… c’mon! They are a complete BS operation. Their broadcasts have a totally different message when they are not in English(like calling suicide bombers martyrs, it’s a joke.)

There is another side to this news selling business. Sometimes they add in things you want to hear, like the sordid list of details that kept growing about what really happened to Lara Logan.

Lara Logan’s account was quite different from the noise we have been hearing. She says they ripped out some of hair, tore her clothes off, beat her and attacked her sexually, though she was not raped. Starting right from See BS, we were lead to believe she was raped and worse. It depends who you read and I’ll let you go down that trail by yourself. Some idiots dismissed it as no big deal and one guy got fired for making fun of her assault.

The Lara Logan story highlights what is wrong with our news media. Stop trying to shape the story and just tell it.

The Rude News made some jokes about the news coverage on Lara Logan’s attack, but amazingly, real news outlets are sniping at Lara Logan. All of you low rent idiots who trash Lara Logan should have flavored coffee thrown in your faces by your more scrupulous colleagues when they see you at Starbucks.

Also, the comments about a victims hotness when they have been sexually attacked are a bit morbid. It’s like you are sympathising with the crime. Are you people this stupid? Even The Rude News knows better, or is better.
