It is simply intellectual laziness and outright dishonesty that leads people to claim that right leaning minds polarized the discourse today. They simply stopped being quiet once the Big Brother controls of the “Fairness Doctrine” were lifted off their backs. As for the coarsening of the discussion, I suggest you watch Keith Olberman for “civility.”

It is amazing all the show hosts bereft of cleverness in the wake of this strike. No daily Show? Where will Americans get their news from? The crowd that watches Jon Stewart for news and Keith Olbermann for entertainment is really missing out.
